A Historic Milestone for LOPEZADRI: The Installation of Our 100-Ton Mi-Jack Crane in Port Laredo

The LOPEZADRI team is proud to share a major milestone in the history of our operations: the successful installation and commissioning of our Mi-Jack MJ100 Travelift 100-ton crane in Port Laredo, Tx at the LOPEZADRI Logistics Terminal.

This investment marks a significant step forward in our ability to handle heavy industrial cargo, project logistics, and specialized transloading operations across the U.S.–Mexico border. With this addition, our terminal expands its capabilities to support industries such as metal-mechanical manufacturing, automotive supply chains, energy infrastructure, industrial equipment, and large project cargo.

For our organization, this achievement represents more than the arrival of a new piece of equipment. It reflects years of growth, vision, and continuous investment in building a logistics platform capable of supporting complex industrial operations.

Engineering Excellence Behind the Project

The installation of the crane was completed with the support of certified technicians from Mi-Jack, who spent two weeks working alongside the LOPEZADRI team to assemble, calibrate, and test the equipment.

Their work included:

  • Structural assembly of the crane
  • Electrical connectivity and system integration
  • Hydraulic system inspection and adjustments
  • Operational testing of hoists and controls
  • Comprehensive diagnostics to confirm proper operation

After completing the commissioning process, the engineers confirmed that the crane is in excellent operational condition, validating the strength of this investment for our terminal.

Beyond their technical skills, they brought a great spirit of collaboration and pride in their work that was truly appreciated by our entire team.

Projects of this magnitude remind us that behind every major piece of infrastructure are talented professionals whose expertise and dedication make these milestones possible.
